Default Noob W/trailer plug question

Just bought a '99 2500 with factory trailer wiring but the plug is missing i just have 8 random wires hanging down under the truck. I bought a 7 round generic female plug in but it only has 7 places to connect wires to. i know i can find tail lights, stop, reverse, turn with a tester but what about brakes and aux? does anyone have the color chart for the wires and know where the 8th wires goes?

If you look through the FAQ section, you will find a download for the FSM ( factory service manual) that has excellent wiring diagrams in it.
