Default Motor question

I've got a 318 block out of a 97 ram and I was wondering if I could put a carburated manifold on it and drop it in my other truck. I know on chevy vortec heads they make a manifold to go carburated I didn't know if it was similar on a dodge.

The carburated intake should fit as long as its made for the magnum engines. Also, most top end parts are interchangeable between the 318 and 360. The have the same heads and intake.

Thanks, I almost ordered the wrong intake. Glad I waited. Also will a tranny from like a 70's or 80's model bolt up?

i looked it up and it should fit, i asume you won't be using a pcm on that engine so it don't matter if you change it to a 727. The only problem could be your flexplate.
What truck are you going to put the engine in?

I've got a 89 Mazda with a full air ride suspension and I figured why not put my extra motor in it. The motor will run with the bare essentials to keep the engine bay clean.

That should work with adjustment of the crossmemebr (i think) and tranny support. You probably will have to modify your drive shaft.
Good Luck!!

Yeah I wish I wouldve decided to do this before I put the new core support on. I'll take pics of the install even though it's a Mazda it'll be a mopar at heart.
