At idle, posssibley when im driving i dont here it. i hear some sort of gurgling noise almost like metal hitting something. it seems to come from the passinger engine bay area. any clues?

My first thought was air in the cooling system. That makes a gurgling sound but not like metal hitting something. Pop the hood and see if you can track it down. See if it's coming from something the fan belt turns (tension pulley, power steering, AC compresser) that would make a groaning/growling sound.

 

If its a gurgling sound I would say air in the colant system try burping it
