Default 99 Ram 1500 Electrical problems?

I have a 1999 Ram 1500. The other I day I went to the store and everything was fine. When I left the store my radio did not have power to it for some reason. I later noticed that my dome light, and the little key illumination light werent comming on either along with the hood light. My first thought was it could be a fuse or a relay. I checked all the fuses and no luck they all seem to be good. Im kinda stuck now Im not sure what else to check, Im thinking it could be a short in a wire or maybe something grounded out somewhere. Maybe even a fuse in a different place? I check all of the ones under the hood and in the fuse panel on the side of the dash.. Does anyone have any advice for me on what I should check next? Or even a wiring diagram? Thanks in advance for anyones advice.

Ok, so it does have an aftermarket radio. There was a cable running from the back of it to underneath the seat, Im thinking it might of been a cd changer or something. It looks like that cable got caught in the track of the passenger seat and might of grounded out not sure, but i do see some bare wire. Anyways I took that cable off and pulled the radio out and checked the fuse in the back and it was good. I disconnected the radio and still no luck, the lights still do not work. Could there be an inline fuse or something that I am missing?

be sure and check fuses in 2 locations. some are in the end of the dash, others are in the PDC box next to the battery.

I think I just solved my own problem, with a little help from that fancy search button on the top. I found this.. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...rain-fuse.html and it explains everything it seems, I am going to try this when I get home. anyways thanks for everyones help hopefuly this thread can help others out who could be having the same problem. The IOD fuse is one I didnt because it was in the fancy black holder and I assumed it had nothing to do with the problem I was having... Heh... Thats what I get for assuming I guess huh..
