Default will this motor work?

i got a 2001 360 with ****ed up pistons but i have a late 80s 360 out of a 1st gen that's carbarated. can i just swap the intakes over and drop this motor into my 01 ram?

New pistons are $39 each.

although he is correct, it wont work. the first gen isnt a magnum engine, its still the LA style, the blocks are different and not interchangeable.

looks like its time for a stroker!

i thought the blocks were the same and the heads were different.
not that it matters, because no - it won't swap in.

i think ima try to get the motor out of a 96 2500 dodge 360. if i cant i gess ima get some pistons
