2/4 drop possibly?
Well fellas, I have decided to keep him. But I am pondering on the idea of doing a 2/4 drop, or not doing a drop at all and adding a Mopar Ground Effects kit, that you commonly see on the SS/T. I use the truck 2-3 days a week towing a 2k pound trailer (nothing crazy). I already have 2" drop shackles in the rear to get rid of some of the rake, my plan is too flip the front leaf spring hangers for another 2 inches of drop in the rear (To retain the factory leaf springs), and then install 2 inch drop coils up front and then take her to the shop to get aligned. I need some outside opinions before I decide whether or not to do this. Here are some side shots of the pickup.

I know my truck will never see performance numbers like RM Indy's or others on this site, but I would like still be able to use it as a pickup when need be, and having a great handling truck. I also have plans for a Hellwig rear sway bar as well.
I appreciate any advice or criticism, thanks!
edit- sorry for crappy quality pics (phone camera).

Were you getting your nails done and getting a birthday card (Hallmark and Apex Nails)?
I think that kind a lower would look really good on your truck. Although you should get spindles instead of coils (Ride quality).

i would go for spindles too, not only the ride quality will improve but also your alignment wil be much better and easier to do. I do alignments every day and we started refusing cars with drop coils because of the bad results it gives on your camber, and the consequences of a bad camber can go far!
Thanks guys, Good advice, I'll look into the spindles. According to DJM, the drop coil has the same spring rate as the factory coil so ride quality shouldn't be an issue, and as long as you don't go below 3 inches your alignment should be fine.
About time their is some thing i know about!!! Do it right the first time.... Get 2" Spindles and with that new wheel bearing. If you want to go cheaper you can do springs and with that don't want to go more then 2" or your tires will be off (Cant really fix them leaning with springs). Now in the back i would do a filp kit and a lift with the shackles. Don't pop a leaf or two out.

I am going no more than a 2/4 drop. Infact, It won't even be 2/4 because I trimmed my rear DJM shackles so there only 1.5 inch drop. I still need to do some more research, but I think I may just go with the coils. 115 dollars shipped to my door. I am in no way messing with the leaf springs, I still want to be able to haul the trailer effectively.
