yeah the stealership quoted me around 800 bucks, and all they do is replace it with the exact same type of gasket as the blown one you have. seriously 80 bucks and three hours is all it takes to do the job right. as for messing something up you have very few moving parts to worry about, we have a few hundred diy's floating around, and there is always someone on who has done it before. they might even walk you through it on the phone if you sweet talk 'em.
