LOTS! of design flaws but with enough money and enough DIY tech articles you'll get it figured out and fixed in no time

Plus your mpg just went down by about 2/3 assuming your Neon got 30mpg lol

The connector for the vacuum lines on the CAD just pulls off. Take er easy, cause its at least 10 years old if no one has taken it off before and could be seized on there.

As far as hubs, yes we have hubs, but that shouldnt be your problem. If we had auto or lockout hubs, it might be something to look at. The hubs have nothing to do with engaging 4x4 on our trucks. I would take the CAD off and inspect in there...fork could be broken, c clips fell off...something. You wont lose too much fluid, but have a pan under there.

Posi-lok is the way to go if your CAD is bad, dont spend money on that junk! Unless, you can find a good CAD in a junkyard for a couple bucks. These vacuum systems seem to give everyone problems.

yeah my neon did get like 30+ mpg but could barley go over a speed bump not even kidding.

and i live out in the south-west Texas hill country, so i really needed a truck. (theres nothing that scares you more than hitting a 300lb 10-point deer going 25mph in a compact car.)
but the neon never gave me any problems except the motor mounts going out which cost me $800 and having to have my motor/trans pulled to access them.
so yeah im expecting to put some money in this thing.( it being over 10 years old.)

but its fully paid off (no more $400 monthly payments) and i only need liability insurance to drive it! ($70 per month vs $200 for full coverage)

well i got under my truck today after work to look at the CAD,
i put the truck into 4low put on the parking break and crawled under the truck.
there is no suction coming from the vacuum line so i traced them down to a plug that goes into the top of the t-case, unplugged it and there was no suction coming from the four plugs on top of the t-case either.
im kinda confused but im think of that part from summit.
have any of you installed it before? or should i try something else?

I have made a posi lok before. I have seen the bought ones installed too. It should be rather simple...just unbolt the CAD, then bolt up the posi lok unit instead and run the cable into the cab. The part on top of the t/c should be easy to replace...I havent done one on my truck, but did it on my Jeep....if there is some room in there its easy.
