The plenum fix is replacing the gasket and plate on the bottom of the intake manifold, which is also called a 'kegger' because it looks like a beer keg cut in half. The leaky plenum gasket is a design flaw, dodge used a steel plenum plate bolted to the aluminum intake plenum, and differences in expansion between the two mean that the gasket gets torn/pushed out of place.

The kegger mod is something alot of people like to do WHILE doing the plenum fix. It involves cutting the intake runners and divider inside the kegger with a dremel. Helps with throttle response and whatnot.

someone else will chime in about the other questions

Welcome To Dodge Forum!

If you have been reading, the Kegger mod is not the same thing as the Plenum fix.

Poormans Tb is just a throttle body that you cut the air horns off to resemble a Fastman Throttle body, but on the cheap.

the plenum fix and kegger mod are not the same thing. the plenum fix is just fixing the plenum gasket on the bottom of the intake. the kegger mod is cutting down the runners inside the intake and taking out the divider. If you are planning on doing the plenum fix you might as well mod the kegger while its out. do a search on both of theses for a ton of info and DIY links. also Purpldodge will have his long awaited DIY on his plenum fix that everyone is waiting for.

Also dont just replace the gasket on the plenum. If you dont get a hughes or aps plenum kit...or the Purpl Plate lol....it will leak again in no time

Its an easy job as well...dont let people tell you its hard.
