ok got a 96 ram 318 doing the brakes on just put 2 new calipers an master cylinder on it now going to reassemble the caliper an rotor w new pads on it an the rotor is binding in between the caliper when i tighten it down the only thing i can think is maybe the factory messed up on the pad sizes this is a 4x4 but nothin i hvaent done before but am definatly confused as to whats going on with it
yea everything is going normal with doin a brake job on it its just draggin when the caliper is tightened down an yea i did the exact same thing to the one on the frnt right and have absoultely no problems with it everything went together just fine
well it's not unusual for the rubber brake hoses to freeze up with gunk or old fluid, which will cause the piston to not retract. It's happened to me a few times.
