Question Overdrive Rpm question

ok i just looked over some of the OD threads and watched a short video(about the double kicks in and out of OD) and noticed that at 55mph the 97 5.9L is running at about 1500rpms but in my 97 5.2 i run at about 2200rpm at 55mph and the transmission isnt slipping or anything runs and shift great just wondering why i am running 700rpm higher than everyone else any ideas?

P.S. i know OD is working because when i press the OD button on the dash my 2200rpm kicks up to about 2550rpm

try barely tapping the brake when youre all shifted out, if it doesnt rev alittle bit, your convertor isnt locking up

you have to have lower gears or you lost your fourth gear. I lost my fourth gear but at 43mph the torque converter still locked out perfectly, and I was running about 2200 rpm at 55, now I run like 1500 rpm after the rebuilt tranny got put in
