Smile Help! Code 37 transmission temperature sensor

I hope someone out there can help me. I have a 94 Ram that refuses to start after numberous test for mechicial failure in the fuel line and other electricial parts. My brother has did the code test and he keeps getting a code 37 which the book says is the transmission temperature sensor code. My brother has been working on cars since he was a teenager so it's not like he's inexperanced with cars. We have called different auto parts stores and didn't get much help. Either they don't carry it or we were told to call a transmission place.
What my truck did the morning it conked out was jerk and stall for about 3 blocks. I turned it off and since then we haven't been able to start it. It acts like it wants to start but seems to not be getting enough fuel. Today he checked the fuel line and that's not the problem either. Any clues or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, it's getting spark to the battery. Now my brother is saying it's not getting spark to the fuel conectors. Do you have a clue about the code 37? Thanks

Looking at AllData that code could mean tcc issue too. Is it auto or manual? Engine size?
