Mine was less than 2 dollars at autozone you got ripped yak, and its a pretty common size for the gasket, the older chevy throttle bodies are the same size

Mine was only 3$ at the dealer.
The felpro gasket is a felt/rubber gasket and the dealers is solid rubber. It seems to me that the rubber gasket would seal better.

Mine wasnt on for who knows how long it is not really essential, was told my neighbor a mechanic for the chevy dealer by my house that its not really needed unless your mating surface on the intake is not flat, if you have the stock intake you shouldnt need it the only reason I put mine on is it makes my CAI fit onto the throttle body better with the clamp it uses.

My truck was probrably ran for a couple years without it and I took it offroading quite a few times before getting the gasket and had no ill effects, if the gasket was around 10 dollars I would not have it on, but since it was less than 2 I got it
