It is made by Champion Labs, as an upgraded version of their "Performance" line of filters (Mobil 1 and K&N).

Fram is made by Honeywell, who owns Autolite and Prestone.

Yeah, I used to use Royal Purple oil, too. 'Til I got my head out of my *** and realized that paying $60 for an oil change with that stuff was a stupid prenium. $29 with Mobil 1 and a NAPA Gold FTW!

Napa Gold filters are made by Wix.

Personally, I buy true Wix brand filters as well.

Napa Gold/WIX oil filters are the best bang for the buck.

How are ACdelco filters. I went to a shop when I was in NJ and was going to get my wife's oil changed. Then I got lazy. i still have the filter. It was for a jeep grand cherokee...still dodge and it will fit. it is just pretty short.

Anyone know of the quality? I know that chevy's like them. I just wait for the Mobil 1 autozone special and I ussually buy 2 of the specials. That or the quaker state/bosch special. Quaker state 4x4 torque power syn is really good when used with 1 qt of lucas to 4 QTS quaker. Truck LOVED that oil

Most AC Delco filters nowdays are a Champion Labs. "E-Core" design. Cheap *** design with fiber end caps and a plastic core tube. Also named as STP and Walmart Supertech filters.

The older design is much better, I use it when I can find it for my S-10
