Air intake / throttle body clamp question

are you talking about this clamp?





if so its not a common hose clamp, its similar but has lips on both the upper and lower edges to go under the outer edge of the TB and over the outer edge of the air cleaner

Now it makes sense, what cai kit is that?

The cai is a Kool Vue 1000 series. The housing looks exactly like the one you have in the picture. Does the clamp have a notch cut out for where the throttle spring attaches to the tb? In any case, that's the kind of clamp I'm looking for, so the OEM clamp should work.

K&N kit also has one with it, iv got a set that came off my truck sitting in my garage with the clamp on it. but iv never tried buying just the ring

I have bought several parts from them. If you call and give them your VIN number they will lookup exact part number you need for your vehicle. Makes getting the correct part easy.

my kit is a AEM bruteforce intake... it said to re-use the original clamp so i did
