zip ties??
so I finally decided to change the cap and rotor in the ole beast today.... found the old one had one bolt broken off and it was held on with a zip tie?. (The joys of buying a used truck....after about an hour of screwing with it i resorted to ...yep more zip ties...good thing I have a body lift or I would have set the thing on fire today for sure
...runs better though....I though it ran smooth before but now there is defiantly more get up and go when I hit the gas...
I've read on here befroe of others using vise grips and zip ties on their distributors so it must be a weak design...

well if the bottom of the screw is poking out the hole on the bottom of the destrib then you might be able to take a dremel cutting wheel
and cut a slit in the bottom of the screw and take a stubby flathead screw driver and try and back it out that way

I know when i did mine, i couldnt see the passenger side screw and did it by feel and i thought i had it, but it wasnt lined up, took a couple tries, so i think people end up stripping the screw out thinking they got it in the whole, this post starting to sound R rated,
