Hay guys just thought you might like to see the pic from my most resent mod I put the IAT sensor in the fender.

I just put it in yesterday and I bought a extend wire off the Internet and am still waiting on it.

well it will be getting cooler air from the inner fender so the computer will think the air in the intake is cooler than it is there for advancing the timing and will have better throttle response

I will let you know but we will have to wait 100 or so miles for the computer to learn everything.

Relocating the IAC will only decrease the MPG's. It tricks the truck into thinking the engine is still cold and then tells the engine to dump more gas to compensate. You WILL get better throttle response only because there's more gas to burn...
