Sanding only prolongs the issue.

Just buy new headlights cause iv wetsanded mine 3 times and fallowed all directions to a T and they'll last about a month then be even dimmer and faded than they were before.

Honestly, OEM replacement if you're not looking for any projectors or HID's or any of that crap.

They'er expensive as hell IE 120 at the dealer, but you wont have any problems with adjustments or fitment or any of that crap because they'er the same damn thing you already got.

and in another 10-12 years you'll do it again if the truck is still running at that point.

I just installed aftermarket running lights under my bumper, they'er brighter than the high beams on most cars and they'er cheap " 21 bucks for a set " i still use my headlights too but i dont rely on them as much as i would if my lenses were mint.

The ones I installed are OEM. You have. To buy each side seperately. The only thing you have to remove from your old set is the adjustment screw in the light itself. There are 3 adj screws total but you need to remove the metal pin covers over the adj screws to get them off. These lights bring back the life in our old treasures.

I have ordered parts from www.LMCTRUCK.COM. I ordered the headlight relay unit and it has improved the headlight output. they have OEM parts for many makes and models and have a catalog for the Dodge Rams. Good website.98 Dodge Ram 1500 107,000 miles and going strong

Same as OEM - just ABS Plastic instead of a the more fiberglass thread reinforced OEM plastic.. Yes they have the side buttons for the rubber strip.. even comes with the rubbers and headlight bulbs..

I am happy with them..
