Default 2001 brake shoe cylinder

hey guys, most of us know about the upgrade to 1ton wheel cylinders and its improvement they help provide, but i heard somewhere along the way that 2001's are already larger? does that sound right? anybody upgrade those cylinders on a 2001 1/2 ton? thanks

I believe your brake cylinders are bored to 13/16's The GM 1 ton dually's are bored to 1 1/8 I don't think you'll feel much of a difference.

All the '01's already have a 1" bore cylinder, the older 3500 models had 1.06" bore but I dont know if they will fit on the newer trucks
