1998 Ram 1500 5.2L tuner and CAI questions
Hi,
It looks like I finally have the truck sorted out and running well, so I thought I would look into a couple of performance upgrades.
It seems like the CAI is recommended here in the forum ---would like to know which one people have been most happy with?
Also when I checked the Superchips website, it says that CAI is not supported for the 3865 with my year truck?but I think that some of you are running CAI and the superchip ?
Any suggestions? Also any other worthwhile upgrades?

btw the truck came with Hedman headers, flowmasters, a 6" superlift and 35x14.5x15 Swamper TSLs, I was thinking about trading those brand new swampers for 33" tires since the truck was not regeared.

just get 14X3 air intake and auto zone for like 30 bucks. CAIs are a rip off. as far as the tires, i had 33s on my truck last summer and then i moved up to 35s and i wouldnt go back to 33s. i didnt really notice to much change in rpms and such when i went bigger.
