Axel wont come out

Angry Axel wont come out

I have a 94 ram 4x4 i need to put in a u joint drivers side axel,i removed the 1 11/16 nut 3 14mm bolts.that sucker is froze in their.i rented a axel puller and slap hammer and it wont budge used pb blaster HELP

I heard somewhere here that mixing half tranny fluid and half acetone is 10 times better penetrating lubricant then anything out there.

If you aren't too worried about saving that one, try heating up the flange around the hub. Don't heat the hub itself. You would be suprised what a little heat can do!

put the 3 13mm bolts back in halfway, and use a socket and air hammer on the bolds to use them to push the wheel bearing out. or you can use a chisel end on an air hammer between the wheel bearing and hub to seperate.
