Relay could be shot, but the factory horns are hell about just locking up and making that click sound as well. Relay first, and if no fix, look at the horn motors themselves.

take a test light and see if your getting power at the horn when you have somone honk it. if you do then replace the horn. i would just grab one from a junkyard. if your not getting power at the horn then your relay is toast.

Take off the spare tire, throw that in the bed, and install a train horn in its place. That'll give you some nice aftermarket sound.

Same thing happened to me. Swapped the relay, just to make sure. Still didn't work. Took the connectors off the horn, sprayed them with electrical contact cleaner, then one of them worked. The other one sounded like something dying. Now the one that worked only works sometimes; usually in the driveway when I'm checking it, but not while I'm driving it.

As soom as time permits, I'm going to put in one of those AutoZone air horns. What are they, $40?

so im gonna hijack this thread because i am having an issue with this damn horn. it seems like when i get something fixed or im ordering parts something stupid stops working like the damn horn. i read this thread but my horn does work, it just craps out some days. is this the fuse? for example today when i went for my run i drove to the park and i was gonna honk at this dumbass for slamming on his brakes to turn down a road without using a turn signal. i punched the steering wheel..nothing. so i tried it again and it didnt work. i started to laugh because when i NEED it, it doesn't work but when i don't it does. so that happened this morning, well i left to go to auto zone this afternoon and it worked..wtf. could this be a fuse going out?

The bolts that hold the horns up themselves act as the ground. Check them to make sure they aren't loose.

Fuses are either there or not. There is no in between. Relays on the other hand have been known to work, and then not work. Check the relay under the hood in the big fuse box.

Cheers.
