i also used hurculiner for the as a base foe everything. i got it in the aerosol cans, then on top of that i painted everything in black with Rustoleum by brush, then used the red rustoleum for accents. the body line down is just the hurculiner with flat black krylon spray paint on top of it. i think i will be clear coating it today

+ 1 on the KRYLON FUSION i bought a can for the first time a few weeks ago to touch up my 2 yr old daughters Red Flyer trike, works very well on the faded plastic parts.

Also just called local LINE-X and was quoted $500 bucks to do my rockers on large truck front to back both sides, UH yeah I'LL BE DOING THIS MYSELF INSTEAD!

hahah i live about 15 min outside of scranton Pa in the coutry side on a farm. i just put scranton bc its a good reference point. i hate the city........

hahah screw that. everything i just did to my truck from the undercoating, to the black and red, cost me under 75 $ and took the better part of a full day. but i was also being meticulous with the red underneath. and it took a while to mask off and tape the rest of the truck off so i didnt get overspray everywhere i didnt want it. and also i sanded down the rockers and bed sides with 180 grit, which took a bit, then tack ragged it before paint.

now all you need to do is ajust your bumper. I like the reg cab long bed. looks good.
