Angry cruise control

hey gus i need some advice. My curise will not turn on if i hit the riti bump in the road and push the button it will show on the dash till the crack in the raod and it goes out i dont know if it will work cuz it wont stay on enough. i have checked the break switch it seems fine and i dont think it would cause the dash light to go out. it worked fine before i was in a fender bender and had to replace the whole nose of the truck. i can only thing i missed a connestion or ground wire but dont know where to start looking any help would be great thanx. by the way the fuses are good

Check the vaccum line. Chances are that it's dry rotted and leaking somewhere.
