wow seems simple to tear them down, which makes me want to get that junk tranny and make it my project, and rebuild it myself.

Anyone can take anything apart. It's putting it back together that's the real pain in the butt. That's when you can really sit back and appreciate great trans builders like MonteC.

This, along with the actual manual, have been posted in the FAQ section.

So forgive me in asking why xjarhead69 is given credit for this... when this has been around for quite some time? The guy who's website you took the video from is a member here in this section. He not only rebuilt his trans, but also took the time to provide us with a how to on his website, and a pdf to download on top of that.

Might want to recall this thread.

Well, they weren't added to the FAQ (or the FAQ didn't exist) when they were first brought up, evidently. This is the first that these have been brought to my attention, so I moved them.

Its not about who gets credit. Its the fact that these are put someplace for easy reference for current and future members.

He got all the credit I linked to his site and told people where to find the manual.
I posted it on Photobucket at first because i couldnt remember where I had downloaded it from, and when I found it I fixed the post.
All i did was put the 2 together so people could find it easier.
Just trying to help dont care about credit.
Thanks Dave

I was just pointing it out, it isn't your fault. Yes the FAQ was around then, we just had a different section mod. I am sure there are plenty of other diy's that were made that never got transfered either. It is a shame :/ Either way, I too agree that they should be in the FAQ. However, do the OP a favor and transfer his DIY thread he made. It has some good information in there as well. As far as the credit goes... I believe in giving credit, where credit is due. But thats just me...
