Default Swap 46re with 46rh

Hi everyone,new member here,need some help.Ive got a 2000 ram 3500 with a blown 46 re transmission.I found a 46 rh out of a 94 ram2500.Can i replace the re with the rh?Can i do some mods. to be able to swap them?Any help would be appreciated.

No it is not a direct swap due to lengh, and computer problems. It is not worth the time.

welcome to df. also double check your transmission model number. the 46re/rh is usually only on the 1500/2500 V8's. your 3500 is probably a larger 47 or 48 behind the V10 or Diesel.

ok,i'll have to keep looking.Thanks for the help.It is a 46re ,it came with a 360 v8.Dont know why they would put that in a 1 ton but thats what i got.Again thanks for the advice.

wow. 360's a pig in a 1500. can't imagine it in a fully loaded 3500.
