I'm kind of glad I took off when I did then. wait a minute, I was the highest one out there, I would have been fine. You got me on diff clearance, but since I took the nerf bars off, I have you on body clearance.

Yank that thing off, the only time you can tell it isn't there is when you get to rocking side to side the truck will feel like it is rocking just a little bit more than usual (and not as stiff I might add) and the other time you'll be able to tell is if you go too fast around a really sharp curve.

It also makes the IFS ride much smoother, not sure if that is the case with yall, but i would imagine it would!
Does fk1022 have a sway bar? I remember him talking about teetering at one point where the left front and right rear tires were off the ground.

Ask fk1022 if the steps helped... They pushed into the body and put some dents in it. With the ground clearance on his truck without the steps, I doubt he would have hit the body.

I'll be making some since I have a welder now. I'll put pictures of them on here when I do.

Sheriff you would have been fine on that last trail, but there were alot more challenges, a good trail for sure!! Fk would not have made it without body damage!! Make sure you show us what you do with a quick connect/release for that sway bar. Although short of electric disconnect, I probably WONT put mine back on!! And yes fk still has his sway bar on, and you could tell the way it was lifting off the ground so much.

I did look at a winch yesterday, and have this plan in my head to mount it behind the bumper with just the fairlead showing!

Did fk take off when I did? I thought he hit that trail with y'all.

From what I've been reading on pavementsucks, all it takes is a cut on the stock end links, a sleeve and a pin. Like I said, I'll put pictures of them up. I'm going to see about getting a gas bottle for the welder before I do though, because I don't trust flux core wire on my truck.

The bumper mount winches are nice, but if you had one that mounts in the hitch then you could get a front hitch made like fk1022 and then you would be able to winch off both ends. His front hitch is pretty awesome.

My damage added up to nothing as far as I can tell other than some scraps on the skip plate, but I've had my far share of damage out there before.

No he rode over to the big mud hole with us, but then none of us went in there! So me and Zane did that last trail and the rest of them headed home!
