2001 ram 360 fuel pressure
I hate to post because I had found this before, but cannot find it again
Someone had posted a fuel pressure test, that included tuning key on checking pressure, off, then on again.. almost like a leak down test..
Also truck running test. I just need to know the acceptable pressures for 1)key turned on truck not running
2) truck running.
Thanks!

editted a couple of times...
service manual says 49 psi, +/- 5 at start or running.
haynes manual says 35-45 psi. injector resistance 12.4 ohms.
pressure test from merry christmas
SPECIFICATIONS - FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE -
GAS ENGINES
All Gasoline Powered Engines: 339 kPa 6 34
kPa (49.2 psi +/- 5 psi)
leak down test from the merry christmas service manual...
(5) Start engine and bring to normal operating
temperature.
(6) Observe test gauge. Normal operating pressure
should be 339 kPa +/–34 kPa (49.2 psi +/–5 psi).
(7) Shut engine off.
(8) Pressure should not fall below 30 psi for five
minutes.
(9) If pressure falls below 30 psi, it must be determined
if a fuel injector, the check valve within the
fuel pump module, or a fuel tube/line is leaking.

I checked my fuel pressure 2weeks ago in my 2001 360:
49 PSI at 3/4 turnkey
49/50 idle ( the dial is constantly bouncing...since the pressure is constantly being let off at the injectors).
Just go with 49 and you are set. and like DH said, 12.4 ohms.
get these injectors:

don't forget to get the EV1 pigtails. Just all the number ans ask for Bruce. he is a very good guy and he will let you know all that you will need.
They are very good injectors and you will get an extra 2 MPG because of them. Plus better performance. THey are 4 hole injectors and our stock injectors are 1 hole.
If you plan on doing any mods (1.7RRs, new intake, throttle body) then having the extra lb/hr will help.
If you do not plan on doing any other mods, get these (a bit cheaper, but a 4 hole upgrade):

the XF2e's are the ones you want. THey are listed with the stock injectors for comparison.
