Default 5.2l random stalls

i have a 95 ram here and it is stalling at idle.. there is no fluctuation in rpm and it dose not have the stalling sound of running out of gass.. its almost as if someone just shut off the key it almost always stalls only when idleing and there seems to be not ryme or reason to the truck turning off.. meaning there is not check engine light, there is not a specific temp the engine has to be at either.. i have replaced the cap and rotor, but that was not relevent to this as the problem only started a while after i changed them.. some may ask if the lugs and wires and such were checked they were. the truck has no power loss and when driving it has only ever stalled once and it started back on its owne before i had a chance to pull over.. every time the truck stalls u can pritty much just start it right back up. any ideas?

As BlackCharger suggested, check your TPS, but I'd also check your IAC. Either could create this issue. I'm more willing to lean toward the IAC if its at idle or near idle only, as a bad TPS usually has worse habits, and they usually occur at multiple times, not just at idle-ish occasions.

The Haynes manual, available at almost any auto store, has the testing methods for testing both devices. Its one of the best $20 (ish) you'll ever spend.
