hammer just fold it up 3 or 4 times and stick it in a box

 

wait...is this that plastic piece on the bottom of the tailgate? if that's it i never knew you could remove it! how the heck do you do that without scratching the paint? i mean once it is removed, is the paint jacked anyway?

 

now its just on there with tape, i heated it with a hair dryer and used fishing string and then use adhesive remover to get the rest of the tape off
