2001 Ram 1500 5.9L Wont Start
I have a 2001 Ram 1500 with a 5.9L that will not start. I dont drive this truck everyday and the last few times I've tried to drive it after it's rained it won't start, it would usualy start but not anymore. I replaced the coil, distributor cap and rotor. I still get nothing, I can hear the fuel pump come on and there is fuel at the fuel rail. It would almost start and I would have to keep it running with the throttle, but now it won't do anything. I also noticed that the tach doesn't move when I crank the engine, not sure if it's suppost to though. Any ideas for me to look at? What can I test? Thanks for any help.
I read somewhere to turn the key on 3 times, I tried that. I got a P0320 code, it doesn't show up when I use my scan tool though. I searched on line and found that to mean (ignition/distributor engine speed input circuit). So what do you guy's think I should troubleshoot from here? I already put a new cap, rotor and coil on it.
FROM HAYNES MANUAL "P0320 Ignition/distributor engine speed input circuit malfunction; no crank reference signal at PCM (diesel models)" crank sensor????
