Default Steering Wheel Cover Removed?

Does anyone have any pics of the leather removed from an early interior 2nd gen steering wheel? Mine has ripped open and little bits of leather rub off on my hands and it really annoys me, not to mention it looks like s***. Inside the wheel it seems to just be rubber. I don't really want to rip it off before I know what it looks like. I am mostly worried about the area around the horns as if rip it off there and don't like it I can't cover it up with a steering wheel cover.

I don't like steering wheel covers but I will get one if it looks bad underneath.

I'd just buy a cover for it.... I love steering wheel covers, makes the wheel feel so much better for some reason...

It does, mine is a from a 97 and my truck is from a 94 i do believe as long as you dont have the switches for the radio and climate control on the steering wheel you will be fine.

The 98 and later have the horn integrated with the air bag. I hate my 97 steering wheel because the horn buttons stick. I asked this a while back and no one had an answer. I'd prefer to get a new one over used.
