The trans hose from the bottom of the radiator blew off, it leaked fluid for about 4 miles, when it was discovered. Stopped immediately, fixed the hose, topped off the fluid, it took 9 pints, and drove it 4 miles to the house, where it took just another pint. Then drove it 1 1/2 miles and there she sits....won't go. Weird huh? 1996 5.2 OD auto trans 1500 2WD ...can I use a trans from a 1996 Ram van with a 5.9 engine? Or how can I test the trans for problems?
