Iv heard some people have problem taking the shocks out when they have coil spacers, if you cut the shock inhalf when you take the old one out, then put the new one in while the plastic retainer is still on the new shock it will help you slide it in easier, then cut the clip and let the shock slide down and align with the bottom bolt hole.

How hard? Easy.
If anything it is easier because the shocks have to travel further up to get to the shock tower, unless you make some shock extensions like I did.

very very easy, i had both front ones done in less than 45 minutes....and i didnt have to do anything with the springs...just jack it up, take off the top shock bolt, bottom bolt, then undo the tower and it slides right out.
