That onboard air is Kick a$$!!! I am putting air helpers in, and will need an air source. That might be more that "El Capitan de la Chepo" may be willing to spend sadly...

Hey sheriff420 did you use a factory dodge tow hitch and what mounting points did you use on the frame? Bolts right up no prob, or you modify?

It was a hitch that I pulled off a Ram in a junk yard. I cut off both ends (the part you bolt on) then I welded a 1/8" plate on the top of it to make it flat all the way across because the support plate that is above the receiver tube is 1/8" thick. After cleaning the surface rust off, I clamped it to the crossmember and welded it all the way around. If I were to get one of those front hitches then it would be hanging down below my brush guard but having it flat against the frame makes the bottom of the hitch even with bottom of the air dam on the bumper.

Ya it definetly is a very useful mod at not too many trucks have it! I been thinking about using my old tow hitch (changed old one for my Dads hand me down tow hitch off his 96 cummins) and putting it to good use up there. If I decide to do it, I want to custom fabricate a lower black steel bumper guard that follows the contour of the lower bumper. Maybe a twelve gauge steel, or at least something strong enough to rear end cars and have complete protection from damage to the truck.

Congrats to EricCartman's Mod of the Month! Rare and functional!
