i gave my cousin my 3 inch si/so that fits on my 2000 ram , go too look under his 98 and its a di/so cat !! how gay, what can he do to make it fit and what the part number for the di/so highflow cat ?? i forget what years it changed to the si/so ??

I think it was 2000 model year that they changed.

mine is a 94 and it was a duel in single out, not sure what makes them differ between years or why.

Just get a y pipe that ends in a 3in and might need an adaptor to put on the stock pipe not sure what size it is

They switched it around the 2000 model year. The larger exhaust enabled them to claim an extra 5 HP at the crank, or something along those lines.
