bumper swap

Default bumper swap

I have a 95 ram 1500 looking for a bumper and really like the sport bumper will it bolt right up.

The 1994-1998 Sport bumpers will, yes. They are the same as yours, structurally, just painted to match the truck's color scheme.

The 1999-2001 Sport bumpers will not bolt up without extra parts. Their supports and brackets (and etc.) are not the same, you'll need to order lots of parts, or find basically a complete front-end donor at a salvage yard.

No problem. Here's some diagrams, courtesy of LMC truck, to illustrate the differences.

Also, don't forget the grille. A 1999-2001 Sport bumper setup with a normal grille will have a big, ugly gap below the grille. The 1999-2001 Sport grilles were a little larger and rounded on the bottom, not flat like "regular" grilles.
