Default Gunna be doing shocks on Monday

Gunna try the Pro-Comp due to funds.

I ended up having to measure all my shocks to get the size needed. Ended up being around 28" extended and about 19" compressed in the front. Going with a bit longer shock this time 29" ext and 17 compressed.

The back were 21" with weight on them could not get them off due to no jack tall enough. But getting 25 ext and 15 compressed I think is what the dude ordered me.

I did notice that the lower mount on the front were a bit buried, what has to come apart to get to the lower mounts?

It should just be one bolt. I didn't take my coils out when we changed mine.

front/top - small nut at top, then 3 nuts to remove the tower.
front/bottom - one big nut/bolt. nut has a flag on it to hold itself.
lift shock out the top. do not remove coil spring.
(tip - its easier if you jack up the body to extend the spring and shock some, which prevents the shock from pushing up on the tower as you remove it.)
torque lower bolt to 100 pounds or else it will rattle under your feet.

rear. lower/remove spare tire for more working room.
one bit bolt nut at top, one at bottom.

I did my shocks in the drivway and didnt even jack nothing up to change them.. the front and rear springs hold everything up as it is.

I know all that, my old ones are shot, I can push them down and they stay down. I was just looking at the bottom bolt and it looked shoved behind stuff and a pain in the *** to get to. But then again I was looking at it by a dim *** flash light last night.

the bolt head is in the front, pretty easy to get to. flag nut in rear holds itself.
