Its very tight with the front bolt, but its doable, without dropping the tank. Its been a year or more, but IIRC, have a needle nose on hand, a hammer, and a driver of some sort to tap the bolt out once the nut is off.

Make sure you have the frame jacked up, and not the suspension. Keep the pressure off that spring.

I switched my passenger over to driver, and installed a used leaf spring ($65 at a salvage yard) on the passenger side to get me by until I have the $$$ to purchase new springs. Had the "Dodge sag" or whatever you want to name it on the driver's side.

PB blaster love the stuff.

ya the only thing that concerns me is how to get to that bolt by the gas tank removed. it looks tight.
i'm picking up two used spring packs today with 2" add a leafs in them to get rid of that dodge 'sag' i hope they get rid of it at least. might add a 2" spacer up front too.

now i was just debating swapping over everything from the new pack to the old pack, and leaving the main leaf bolted in the truck. i'd need new centrepins most likely, as i'm sure the ones int he new springs are rusted solid.

So how do you get the bolt out or in without dropping the gas tank?
