Default truck pulls

How many of u guys use ur truck in the 4x4 truck pulls. I have a friend with an extra-cab 318 that he traded his chevy for, he says it has alot more power in low range than the 5.3 did in the chev. Im kinda wondering how he might do and if anyone has any experience doing this. The first pulls up here in norther VT r on June 5th so expect the video of his truck shortly after.

i typed this out in my last post but it diddnt show up for some reason. So if it shows up later youll know why i typed it twice

I fergot to add, i was pulling in the Street showroom class which is one above the absolute showroom class (stock) because i had more then 2 bolt on's. I had headers, highflow cat, exhaust, and my 14x3. If he pulls in the stock class i think he would do fine.
