a few weeks back i bought a bumper mounted brush guard but the guy didnt give me the backets! i was wondering if some one could post a picture of some, so that i have an idea of what i need to fabricate.

I had the same problem...the guy took it off of a Cummins...so its a beast! I did what you shouldn't do...I bolted mine on to my bumper, its very sturdy, but not near as sturdy as if it was going to the frame...trust me when I say that it didn't really do very good for my bumper, but it has saved my truck's life about 5 times! I would make some metal connectors to the frame or find some brackets specifically made for that brush guard if I had to
