Default transmission and transxfer

I am gettin ready to change all my fuilds.

what kind of transmission fluid does a 94 4x4 ram 1500 take?

what kind of transfer case fluid?

ATF+4 for both. (assuming you have an automatic transmission, since you didn't specify?)

If you have an nv3500 5 speed, it takes MTL (manual transmission lubricant). There are just a handful of brands that sell compatible fluid for the nv3500. Red Line's MTL is the best, followed by Pennzoil Syncromesh, and I forget the other brands. But the Mopar nv3500 fluid it the worst and most expensive!
