Hi my boyfriend bought a 1998 dodge ram 1500 . He took it to work and now is stuck because he said the factory security system won't let the truck start. Anyone know how to get by this and get the truck to start so he can come home?

Generally alarms have a little button next to the hood latch release, and if it doesn't work, take the alarm system out, it should be under the plastic shell under the steering column.
