Default Very Happy Thanks

I wanted to thank everyone on here for the continous recomendations to change my plenum. To be honest I really thought I was wasting my money getting it done. If you have read any of my post you know I have been dis satisfied with my trucks towing performance. I had the hughes plenum, o2 sensor and new 180 T stat installed this week. At first i thought I noticed some mid range increase but after tuning too tow mode with my superchips, I was sold. I spent all day hauling upwards of 14,000 lbs of stone on a 3000lb trailer. Even with the 3.55 gear. I was overwhelmed with the performance increase. All you 360 fans would have been proud. I pulled out of the quarry and let it eat. My CAI was squaling like crazy and sounded awsome. I am on my way to having the bad*** truck I set out to get. A upcoming gear swap and LSD will top it off. Untill I got on this forum I had never even heard of a plenum. Thanks again...I am loving my dodge again.

Until he breaks his engine.

After all, If I break my engine, I will get a 408. I will tell my wife that I need a new engine. Then get a 408. Hey, its a new engine.

When I bought this truck I told my wife. " I want to be that guy who has a twenty year old truck that is cherry". The adding in a new monster motor has been talked about in a fews years but I want to try and use up the life on this 360 first. That might be tuff because my last 97 had 230,000 plus on it when I sold it.

I could put a Cummins in my truck and my wife would not be the wiser. She has been so tired of hearing me complain about this truck, she actually told me to go trade in on a Brand new one. I just can't see spening that kind of cash.
