I want to change the piping from the cat to the y pipe. I have a single exhaust system thats 2.5 inch from the cat and runs into a 3 inch y pipe then 2.25 duals. I want 3 inch pipe from the cat to the y pipe. I need 3 inch tube and a 2.5 inlet 3 outlet adapter. Should I order this off of summits(about 35 shipped) or buy from exhaust shop? will this make exhaust sound noticabely deeper? thanks for any help.

 

i know stock y-pipe is very restrictive, i would just hav a shop fab up one so you dont get something they wont want to install

 

my downpipes were 2" i believe
