Default Lifting 98 ram

Alright hopefully new buddies, just got my first car(truck). 98 ram 1500 sport quadcab , super excited to get started on it. im pretty new to this whole working on cars things so be easy on me please. The first thing ive been craving to do is lift this puppy about 3 in. Is this enough to turn heads every once in a while with some big tires? where im at its about rims and luxuary but im more of an offroad guy. back to topic, i wan't a 3 in lift what do you guys recommend i just eyeballed all of this for the first time today so imma sound pretty dumb. coil spacers or new coils? add a leaf or the cast iron block things? can someone tell me about the control arms and if i would need them on a 3 in lift. by the way im checking out the lifts at topguncustomz. I want to get bigger tires and wheels but way to many numbers of the sizes, i need a little bit of help. I like the wider looking tires just not too crazy and i would like them to make my truck look mean lol but still be without problems. umm and need a little bit of help with the wheels to put them on. is there anyplace that sells the whole tire nd wheel together? im sorry im pretty much new at all this stuff but i wanna get into it. Anyhelp would be appreciated alot thanks
by the way im 17 nd not really made of money lol well thanks anyways. hopefully get sum pics up soon

Pay the extra money for the leafs and coils.

There good ppl down there I have there 3" lift under my truck. They will drop the price's on there lifts. I got a pretty good deal.

Same thing as dodge15004x45.9, get coils and leafs. Topguncustomz comes recommended by a lot of people and I plan on going through them when I get my lift. Unless they make a good deal for a swap from blocks to leafs though, I'll probably just stick to buying this kit

Also thinking about getting these...I dunno

Dude that kit is WAY over priced is all I have to say. You are a jackass if you pay that much for a lift kit. I know I'm coming off rude but I get extras with my lift and paid 485 shipped.

The reason the lift is about 200 extra bucks is because of the shocks. Rough countries shocks cost $35 a pop where as bilsteins cost about $75 a pop and everyone talks about how Bilsteins are some of the best shocks out there so I figure why not.

Only thing I can say is I hope you chew on them over that price. A few bucks more and you could have a 5" lift.

but I don't want 5" I'm happy with a 3" lift. Plan on staying with 33's for awhile.
