Arrow Lined Rocker Panels

i did my rocker panels about 2 weeks ago, using the rustoleum roll on bedliner. prep was done w/ an orbital palm sander and 120 grit sandpaper.
i had the typical rust on the bottom of my doors, fortunately it was just on the surface. i brought those areas down to bare metal and used a primer/sealer.
after thoroughly scuffing ALL the areas getting liner, i taped off the lines w/2" painters tape and applied 2 coats per side using a 6" foam roller and regular trim brush.
the surface is slightly textured, but doesn't appear at all as rough as herculiner.
there are some spots with faint roller/brush marks...but you can only see them upon very close scrutiny.
i plan on spraying a finishing coat w/the rustoleum can version in the near future & i think that will remedy any imperfections.
i'll keep you posted.
sorry for the poor quality pics...cell phone cam.

Looks just like how I did with my truck. Looks Really good, man! Let me know how the rustoleum holds up. I've used everything, but rustoleum.

Looks good! I did the same sorta thing with the spray on rock guard. It has a slight textured look to it... I did mine the same height as you did as well.

Looks tough! Lets hope it is.

I`ve got to get it done on my 94 sometime soon... My paint is peeling and there`s a couple spots that are finally down to bare metal. I`ve got the factory two tone (grey on the bottom) and I`m not a fan of it anyway. This looks pretty good, might just motivate me to get it done soon

i had the grey trim too.made taping off real easy.
i'd also like to add that i did NOT remove the rear bumper to do this...i taped it off real good and made "tubes" of paper to go over my tail pipes.
removing the bumper and trailer hitch seemed like a project in and of itself....but i managed to get the liner on w/the brush from the side, top, and underneath.
total of about 7 hrs. taking my time...including removing the mudflaps which were a real P.I.T.A... P.O. used all types of assorted hardware. in the end i just sacrificed and cut the flaps and bolts, screws and clamps.

Cool! I`m thinking of doing the inside of my rockers on the bed too. My truck doesn`t have the full rear wheel well liners so the front of my box always gathers mud...
