Default WTF!!! 97 ram 1500 FUEL RAIL ODDITY?

So about a year ago i bought 2 Dodge RAM 1500's, a 95 and a 97. Ive been doing a motor swap in my spair time for about a year now and i'm down to one last thing, the fuel rail. For some reason the fuel rail on a 97 is plastic and female while the 95 is a metal fuel rail and is male. I've seen this same plastic fuel rail on 2 97 ram 1500's but thats it. How the hell am i suppose to find a plastic fuel rail for a 97? I've heard they made a rare few in odd years.

theres ALOT of differences between a 95 and 97....

but the fuel injectors can fit alot of rails, just try swapping the rail to the one you need...just replace the o-rings

What are the other differences because I just need to throw the fuel rail on and the bolt the throttle body back on before firing it up. I havnt noticed any other differences between the two so far? and the injectors fit fine, its the fuel line going into the fuel rail thats causing me the problem.
