So I am looking for a new brush guard for my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500...last one wrecked...long story.

Anyway found one on craigslist for a good price but they say it will fit a Dodge Ram PU 2001-2003. Huh? Aren't 2nd gens from 1994-2002? Is there a frame or bumper difference from a 1998 to a 2001?

If he was local I'd just drive over and see if it would work but he is about 3 hrs away so I'd hate to go there and waste the gas to just come out empty handed. Any help, ideas or suggestions be great, thanks!

 

I'd say he just doesn't know what he's talking about. Try and get brand and model info. That would be the best bet without looking at it.

 

hmm good idea...sucks he is 3 hrs away...gas alone be $100 there and back lol
