Please go back and edit your post rather than posting three separate posts in a row. I'll fix it this time for ya.

WoW.. a 361 BB in a 97 Ram. Why?

I mean, I'm not trying to be a buzz kill or anything like that, but you can stroke the 318 and 360 to get some crazy Hp and Torque. I could understand a 383, 400 or 440 being that a BB 727 trans would bolt up and the parts can still be purchased, but I would think that a BB361 would be hard to come by.

Anyway, with a custom engine, mounts, transmission and transmission cross member, driveshaft, yokes and well.. quite a bit of other custom made items to make all this work, I don't see why you couldn't run true dual exhaust. Like a previous poster said, it's going to cost you a little more $$$ to get it done.

What if you break something with all that custom stuff in there. I'd be too scared to drive it personally.

I am going to stick with the small block....there aren't a lot of people that have no cat or mufflers...I bought mine without a cat and cherry bombs If you want something that has some good sound...then either run cat or mufflers for best performance...with my purple hornies, it is way quicker off the line than my staight pipes....it just sounded faster!!
